    Votre mission :

    The team's objectives are to:
    -    Develop new reagents and digital PCR assays to expand Stilla's offering or as service projects for customers.
    -    Acquire knowledge, conduct proof-of-concept studies and publish application content on a variety of topics to showcase the full application potential of the naica® system. Application areas include oncology, cell and gene therapy, infectious diseases and many others.
    -    Support and guide other companies or laboratories wishing to develop content or products for the naica® system.
    -    Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the continuous improvement of Stilla® products.

    The principal missions for the Senior Engineer R&D – Digital PCR Assay Development are:
    -    Define, drive and manage digital PCR assay development projects required by a) the Stilla’s product development roadmap & b) our customer’s needs for assay development services.
    -    Engage with customers to define assay development service projects, together with our Commercial team.
    -    Manage external collaborations.
    -    Ensure project advancement and documentation.
    -    Come up with innovative ideas complementary to Stilla’s existing technologies & products; participate in the development of innovative Assay and Reagent products, ensure their troubleshooting and optimization.
    -    Ensure the management of assistant engineers and engineers.
    -    Ensure the timely advancement of priority projects by respecting key deadlines.
    -    Write and complete all R&D procedures and V-cycle documents necessary for assay and reagent product development following the ISO13485 QMS, when required.
    -    Stay up to date and transmit cutting edge digital PCR and genomics techniques and applications
    -    Contribute to the generation and transmission of scientific content for the digital PCR Learning Center, Application notes and Technical notes.
    -    Report regularly to management.
    -    Respect the values of Stilla® Technologies.

    Votre profil :

    Has a M.Eng. / M.Sc. / PhD specializing in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or a related discipline.
    - Has at least 3 years of post-graduate technical experience in Assay & Reagent Development.
    - Preferably, has at least 3 years of experience developing novel qPCR or digital PCR assays.
    - Experience in personnel and project management would be appreciated.
    - Must speak English and French.
    - Has excellent communication and reporting skills and a strong ability to prioritize.
    - Must be adaptable, organized, rigorous and results oriented. Skilled at multi-tasking and working flexibly around schedules in a fast-paced environment.
    - Self-directed with strong initiative and an ability to work autonomously.
    - Feels responsible for the advancement of projects, high data quality and meeting deadlines.
    - Adept at working in a team with strong team spirit.
    - Embraces high goals and a desire to contribute to technical innovations for the life sciences.
    - Is passionate about genomics and healthcare.
