Mission

La Française Am Finance Services is looking to add a dutch speaking "(Junior) Client Relationship Manager" position in Luxembourg to strengthen the Client Relationship/Sales support team.

This is a permanent role that will offer the successful candidate a great opportunity to build knowledge in the asset management industry within a highly successful international team.

The role will include but isn’t limited to:

  • Coordination of the onboarding process for new business relationships (Distribution or Referencing Agreements) in collaboration with the Sales, Legal & Compliance Teams for setting up the contractual, legal and operational framework

  • Management of the KYC process in relation to the collection of the relevant documents and update of the CRM at account / business contact level 

  • Implementation of new standard and/or tailor-made reporting in collaboration with the fund producers ( Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale’s Management Companies) 

  • Provision of full holdings / portfolios to clients upon request 

  • Maintenance of customers’ / prospects’ data such as reference data, preferences and distribution list of fund information (factsheets, fund presentations, fund manager’s comments, newsletters, etc) in the CRM in close collaboration with Sales teams

  • Management of all operational requests received in our team mailbox (in collaboration with any other department deemed appropriate)

  • Management and follow-up of invitations to business events such as webinars, conferences, entertainment activities, etc in the CRM and provision of relevant data to Sales teams upon request

  • Assistance to Marketing / Business Support teams in the organization and budget monitoring of sales events (material, goodies, invoices)

  • Support for small-scale sales events (such as roadshows and conferences) for the delivery of documents and / or the logistics’ coordination

  • Any other task or mission aimed at supporting together with other departments the sales teams or meeting our business partners’ needs (investors and prospects)

  • Ensure proper escalation of critical issues to Management whenever required / deemed appropriate to effectively mitigate potential risks to the business

Profile

Your ways of working & how you complement us

  • Proven analytical skills – ability to extract, analyze and assimilate information

  • Proficiency in major MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

  • University degree, ideally in Business administration, Finance, Economics or other related studies 

  • 1-3 years’ experience in a European Client Services position or in a similar role within the Financial services industry (Fund Investment / Asset Management)

  • Strong operational background, ideally with knowledge of the French (Southern European as a plus) mutual fund industry, distribution platforms and transfer agency operations 

  • Experience in collaborating with international operations and customer facing teams, exposure to other cultures/countries 

  • Fluent in Dutch, English and French, other languages considered as an advantage 

  • Flexibility to work in a multicultural, changing environment

  • Hands-on mentality with the ability to set priorities

  • Team player, with the ability to work as an individual contributor
