    Votre mission :

    About the Role 
    The Paris Brain Institute seeks an exceptional Project Manager to lead coordination of our groundbreaking Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) collective project. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of neuroscience by managing a cutting-edge research initiative that brings together graduate students, postdocs, and engineers from across Europe. 
    Working directly with Dr. Claire Wyart, you'll orchestrate international collaborations, develop training programs for early-career scientists, and ensure the success of the next generation of neuroscience researchers. 


    Key Responsibilities 
    Strategic Project Management 
    - Support project coordination including workplan development, communication strategies, and funding acquisition 
    - Represent the project in partner exchanges and maintain systematic reporting 
    - Implement comprehensive project management tools and monitoring procedures 
    - Collaborate with multiple departments: grants office, finance, IT, HR, legal, and scientific integrity 

    Program Development & Implementation 
    - Launch and coordinate regular DBS meetings with early-career scientists and principal investigators 
    - Organize two annual conferences (one international, one national) and specialized training events 
    - Develop and manage summer schools, symposia, and soft skills workshops across European partner sites 
    - Create and maintain external communication platforms including project website 

    Team Leadership & Support 
    - Lead recruitment campaigns for early-career scientists including job descriptions and interview coordination 
    - Facilitate visa procedures for international researchers 
    - Build and maintain dynamic networks among young researchers 
    - Provide logistic support for all training activities and scientific events 

    Financial & Administrative Excellence 
    - Oversee funding distribution to project partners 
    - Prepare comprehensive activity reports (scientific, financial, communication) 
    - Develop and maintain data management plans 
    - Ensure compliance with EU reporting requirements 

    Long-term Sustainability 
    - Contribute to grant writing for continued program support
    - Develop transitional strategies including summer course proposals
    - Collaborate on publication of training materials and methodologies
    - Prepare and submit proposals for second-wave scientist recruitment

    Votre profil :

    Education & Experience 
    - Master's degree or PhD in neuroscience or related scientific field 
    - Proven experience in scientific project management, preferably with European projects 
    - Background in consulting, academic institutions, or equivalent management roles 
    - Experience in administrative, organizational, or neuroscience training (imaging, molecular, behavioral, or computational) 

    Essential Skills 
    - Language: Fluent English (written and oral) - position conducted entirely in English 
    - Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-partner initiatives 
    - Grant Writing: Experience with funding applications and financial reporting 
    - Organizational Excellence: Track record of successful conference and event management

    L'Institut du Cerveau est un établissement dédié à la recherche, à la compréhension et au traitement des troubles neurologiques et des maladies du cerveau. L'Institut unit des scientifiques de diverses disciplines, notamment la neurologie, la neurochirurgie, la neuro-imagerie, la neuropsychologie et la génétique, dans le but de collaborer sur des projets de recherche novateurs.
    Les objectifs incluent la découverte de nouvelles thérapies pour traiter les maladies neurologiques telles que la maladie d'Alzheimer, la maladie de Parkinson, la sclérose en plaques, les troubles du mouvement, les troubles de l'humeur et bien d'autres.
